Funny thing is, I had an employee from Brunei a few years ago.
She said that most of the population is poor, with a small percentage being "blessed" by the gov't and sultan having most of the money. Keep in mind that their taxes went to his lavish lifestyle.

Imho, he's nothing more than a dictator with a fetish for collecting crap. A piece of trash who would be nowhere in life without his aristocracy and family positions. Imagine if Harper had $4 billion in cars? We'd be screaming for his blood.
