when he's not staying over i'll say...3-4 days a week. hang out at each others place, eat dinner, watch movies, etc etc. i don't think there's going to be a right amount of how often you see your partner if that's what you're looking for but it just really depends on the couple. i know some people that will only see their s/o 1-2 times a week so they don't "lose their spark" from being together too often and some that see each other everyday and do everything together.

every morning, drive in to work, drive home, dinner, sleep in same bed.
We live together and drive in to work together as we work 5 mins from each other. We make sure to have evenings away from each other that way you don't get bored or take the other person for granted. There are some weeks that we have so much going on we won't see/do something for 3 or 4 days in a row.

yeah, TV show is a nightmare, even you skip two D9 DVDs, you won't really miss that much. The crying scenes will last at least 12 hrs. lol
my gf usually watches those TV shows by herself, but she likes japanese ones more, they are much shorter (around 10-20eps each).
