-2004 Outback H6 VDC Wagon - gangster McIntosh sound system, dual moonroofs, very smooth H6 engine, much better on gas than your rotary, and it's dirt cheap used

-I'd cross off the Liberty completely if I were you; utterly garbage.. GMC Envoys and Chevy Trailblazers are good alternatives.. Our company has a fleet of them, and they've been super reliable (all are beaten, and have over 180,000kms)..

Brute_4s: I'm pretty sure the roads in Kelowna are worst than North Van.. I drive a FWD Mazda with Michelin X-Ice2's all around, and I did well the entire season

I drove to North Van for post-secondary in a RWD vehicle... So long as you aren't being stupid, there's nothing dangerous about it. Don't gun it and take turns nice and easy.

Think about it this way: For decades, the majority of vehicles out there were purely RWD. What did people do when it snowed? They drove their RWD car.

For decades people drove without seatbelts, Do i ever do it? no...

Not shunning RWD in snow though, LSD + snow tires is great

^no point for Op to get such a big car with such poor gas mileage, although the latter he probably got used to in his RX8 (but i shouldn't be the one talking...)

Well, so many ppl suggest me to choose subaru.Even if i buy a subaru, i would only go for STI or LEGACY. STI is out of my budget and most LEGACY is wagon model. I dont really like the outlook of outback...

Find a used Legacy 2.5GT sedan. Given your budget, you should be able to afford one. Its somewhere around $15k.
