i guess i posted in the wrong forum

I recently bought a BB bold on craiglist and I unlocked it because I am with Fido. I am trying to set up the email on it but I think the previous owner registered the PIN and IMEI with rogers. Is there anyway around this so I can register my bold with Fido?

have rogers release the pin? then register on fido.blackberry.com

Yep, make sure you get the previous owner to call rogers and release the pin.
Then fido should be able to set it up for you within a matter of minutes if you dont want to do it yourself

the PIN can only be released by the previous owner. get a hold of the person you bought it from.
