| Flashforward
This is a pretty decent concept. Its based on a book written by a Canadian who theorized about what might happen when the scientists at CERN switched on the Large Hadron Collider. Quote:
A mysterious global event causes everyone to simultaneously experience, for two minutes and seventeen seconds, his or her life six months in the future. When it is over, many are dead in accidents involving vehicles, aircraft, and any other device needing human control. Everyone who survived is left wondering if what they saw will actually happen.
A Los Angeles FBI agent named Mark Benford tries to figure out what exactly happened and why it happened. Along with his team, he creates a database of people's flash forwards from around the world called the Mosaic Collective. Apart from the various catastrophic visions, people also see themselves relapsing into various former vices, such as Benford seeing himself drinking again, and his wife Olivia has a vision of herself with another man.

The TV series: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FlashForward
Looks good. Joseph Fiennes. John Cho, Dominic Monaghan, and Seth McFarlane will be in it.

Im guessing they're just using the plot elements from the book and wont actually try to follow it?

This is a pretty fucking awesome show! Cho can act fine, he did a great job of reacting to not seeing a flashforward without giving it away.

And yeah, I was pretty impressed with the first episode. I just hope it doesn't turn into a Fringe for me. The first couple of episodes was great, but things started getting a little too X-Files for me... too many things that were too hard to swallow to even accept as reality. Hopefully this wont follow a similar pattern.

i liked episode 1
im not sure how they can adapt a novel into a series..?
unless it's a mini-series or 2 seasons long..or just borrowing in the plot elements
however i feel like there's way too many similarities to lost..The pilot starts off with the protagonist awakening from a chaos accident..explosion happens..exact same pilot opening scene as lost.

^ actually I think it's 3
Dominic Monaghan (Charlie), Sonya Walger (Penny Widmore) and Kim Dickens (minor character, played Cassidy, the woman who had Sawyer's baby)
Flash Forward isn't progressing the way I want it to.. it might turn out to be a show I wait until the whole season's finished and watch it all at once

People still watching this? Its one of my favourite shows this season. One thing I still don't understand is that they found the Somalia photos several episodes ago, yet they haven't followed up on it and gone to Somalia to investigate.
