GeigerCars has announced their new performance package for the Chevrolet Camaro SS.
The German tuner outfits the 6.2-liter V8 engine with a sophisticated supercharger, which enables it to produce 568 hp and 799 Nm of torque. For comparison, the standard Camaro SS "only" produces 432 hp and 569 Nm of torque. This means the Geiger Camaro should be able to rocket from 0-100 km/h in less than 5 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 314 km/h (195 mph).
To ensure the car handles properly, Geiger installs a coilover suspension, adjustable anti-roll bars, and a high performance braking system with six piston front and four piston rear calipers which clamp onto massive 380mm (front) and 355mm (rear) grooved brake discs. Other updates include the addition of sport catalysts, a stainless steel Geiger exhaust system, and a two-plate sport clutch.
Outside, the sole exterior styling change is the addition of 10x22 inch light alloy wheels outfitted with 265/30 and 295/25 tires.
