| Window Tint Experience - Speedy Autoglass and Apple Autoglass
Has anyone had experience with window tinting at these places? Any feedback?
Yes, I do know that there are other places that do a superb job, but I am just checking these places first as they are near where I live.
Thanks!
Any experience with Street legal tint as well?

I had my windows tinted 7 years ago from Speedy on my old car and they did a decent job. The overall work was messy like water all over the door panels, left over tint but the tint film was alright and I never had any issues with fade or peel. You really get what you pay for.

anyone know about n-motion for the honeycomb at the back windshield of my car? also looking at graphite tinting, so it doesn't turn purple in 2 years.

Anyone got their MKV GTi's tinted? Took the guy over an hour to do the rear window... paid him the same though
BTW don't go for a 5% tint like i did, what a bitch to drive at night, and uncomfortably dark during the day, feels like you're always wearing sunglasses even though i only did the back

and have lifetime warranty on bubbles.
we should just have a "GO TO N-MOTION FOR TINTING" thread sticky so people quit asking about this every few days.

The time it takes to get a response regarding those other shops, you would have gotten a tint job at N-Motion already...

I dont know about the apple autoglass, but I did just get my car tinted at N-motion and they did an amazing job. I would definatly reccomend them to anyone.
My buddy got his Civic done at Street Legal in surrey, it was also a very good job. No problems with his and its been 4 years.

street legal tint did a better job compared to n motion. street legal went right up to the edge of the glass so it made it look oem and had no imperfections. wWhere as n motion left a big gap there and the guy told me so the tint film wont get rubbed off by the window seal which i think its bs because I never had that problem when street legal did mine.

I don't doubt all the good thing i hear about nmotion for tinting... but i saw their installs for HID kit, and things like reverse parking sensors... and just wasn't impressed.
For something as "ma fan" as tint... it better be right...
Don't get me wrong either, i have brought at least 4-5 cars there just in referrals...

I had mine done @ Speedy back in 02. The tint is still perfect to this very day. I mean, the quality will vary depending on the person doing. I wouldn't expect the same job quality from Speedy to Speedy stores.
