We usually don't use it for the same purpose, to se peaks and dips.

But, we can do it to your liking.

Does that mean you can *adjust* it to show my 82 hp Ford Timpo making 1000 hp's?

RacingGreed 09-08-2009 08:04 AM

Smoothing doesn't change numbers, if anything it'll lower your peak horsepower reading

from getting rid of spikes.

Also, for last 3 years, we have never changed basic load caliburation (which is the only

thing that can change the power reading), even though the dyno reads a lot lower than other

local dynos.

So, don't expect miracle numbers from dyno. It's a heart breaker.

Hey Tommy, can Andrew bring the "Pinks All Out" GT-R out? I sense a new AWD and Nissan record! ;)

PS. Your Nissan record is actually 530RWHP from a 1990 Nissan 300ZX...stock engine with twin Garrett GT3071s ;)

RacingGreed 09-08-2009 01:16 PM

Yep, mike, andrew can bring it for sure, will be interesting to see new AWD record.

Will change the Nissan Record to 530rwhp.

However, I think we will see new AWD record today. I'll post the dyno result.

RacingGreed 09-08-2009 04:23 PM

Well, new AWD Record didn't happen, car has some issues that need to be addressed before it goes on the dyno!!!

RacingGreed 09-11-2009 05:32 PM

Seems like its going to be a nice day tomorrow, hope to see all you guys their!

Muskys SS 09-12-2009 06:25 PM

Thanks for comming guys, it was nice meeting all of you. We'll have some formal dyno results up soon.
Here's some off the top of my head...

1) Andrew's R32 GTR @ 28psi of boost on racegas and meth: 460-508awhp (the hp and tq curves were fluctuating so we weren't able to get a clean graph)

2) Tomas's Nissan 240sx S14.5 @ 19psi pumpgas and meth: 312rwhp

3) C63 AMG Benz: 310rwhp

On a side note: we ended up Dynoing Mark's (our technician) Yamaha R6 and it made 86rwhp, but was missfiring because we didn't have a good fan to blow into the intake. (it was running 10.0 AFR)

TypeRNammer 09-12-2009 10:15 PM

Did anyone run lower WHP than me?? =p
