New Find

Quickly browsed Craigslist for work lights as I bought a set and returned them. I had a hard time finding a sturdy set that was good quality. Well luckily I randomly searched craigslist and found one ad for a set of worklights. They looked to be very durable and sturdy. The guy delivered it to me for $45. Not to bad of a deal imo. The lights being sold at Home Depot and Canadian Tire are a lot less sturdy. So I had no problem paying $45 for a good set of used worklights. Here are the pictures:

Can't wait to do some polishing with these bad boys!

I have the yellow stand with dual 500 watt lights from home depot. It looks exactly like yours except it has two lights.

I believe that is from the same company that makes the green LED light.

Dual 500watt is ideal for detailing. A lot of the worklights look similar, my first choice was to cheap out and buy one from Canadian Tire. Big mistake, it said 500 watt so I thought it was two 500watt lights, but it was two 250watt lights. So I returned it and found this. This one is great, even has it's on GFI outlet.

is it that 180 degree light? I saw something like that on the US Home Depot site. Anyways, I can't wait to get a car to polish so I can test out this bad boy.

not to shit on your group buy but those are really similar to the ones that I returned. I looked at those and the ones that were $40, the 1000W ones are pretty flimsy.

They're definitely not as sturdy as the beauty you got.

The 1000W ones are used on construction sites and I've never knocked one over passing through. These are pretty much the only ones I see at sites also. They're affordable and a lot cheaper if the group buy goes through then buying them at CT.

yeah I lucked out on mine, but $40 for a pair of 1000W tripod lights is a steal.
