Any way to check registered owner with only license plate?

Is there any way to look up the registered owner/liens of a vehicle on a website or somewhere else with only a license plate number? Thanks in advance for the help

even then, they watch your remote profile to see if you're looking up plates for people. If you're lucky enough to have like 100 logins (from corrupted autoplan dealers) you should be able to get some names, and from there, at least find out where they live etc... i don't think people hide that well...

oh well, that's how i got my plate... randomly playing with autoplan computers XD

BabyJane 09-06-2009 05:12 PM

yes you can, my uncle did that for me, lol.

i wanted to buy a car but the seller only accepts cash (no bank drafts, certified cheques), so my uncle got suspicious and called up his insurance broker, gave them the license plate number, and asked if the seller was indeed the registered owner because he only accepts cash. they called us back and gave us the owners name.
who the hell carries 10Gs around? hmm maybe mainlanders in LV stores... i dunno...

mmmk 09-06-2009 05:41 PM

umm I have a friend who works in a insurance agency and she couldn't check...so I'm confused here

There is online sites based in the US that can lookup CDN plates. You'll have to dig deep into google to find the sites.

its a simple yes or no question, no need for smart ass remarks or comments, if you dont agree or like what im asking go report it to a mod and if they deem it is illegal or not appropriate they can close the thread. Simple as that

There is no need to take your time and post irrelevant false accusations or assumptions on with such a simple question. If you don't know don't post anything, if you do know and would like to help by posting a link or a helpful comment then thank you.

monkeywrench 09-06-2009 11:48 PM

ilvtofu plate please.

alex.w *// 09-07-2009 07:28 AM

the only way is to find out the cars vin number.

then go do a lien check. if they have a lien, the address will show up.

winson604 09-07-2009 11:52 AM

I have my own access to check to a certain extent haha

Edison_Chen 09-07-2009 02:33 PM

You will need more than just a plate number on the car in order to get the vehicle information and who is the registered owner. There are 2 different screens: 1 for the coverages on the vehicle, and the other screen shows what yr, make, model, net weight, vin and etc etc...
