Thanks!! | i'd get a 05+ and put some nice brakes on it
1. wheels, Volks are pretty popular, depends if you want 19's or 20's with 20's you're going to have to go with another brand like works for example\
2. for a body kits i'm not really a fan so i wouldn't know what to suggest to you
3. coilovers, i've heeard good things about BC racing, but you can't go wrong with KW's
4. for spoilers, i prefer stock, and the 05-06 spoiler is much smaller and is only as wide as the trunk, as opposed to the 03-04 which some refer to as a park bench.
5. headlights? well for the 03-05 they're HID equipped but don't have projectors, i believe 06's have them standard.
6. Stoptech seems to be a favourite. or upgrade with OEM Akebono's or Brembos' which are easily half the price of the stoptechs.
GL, autos, are much cheaper lol if you don't care about the transmission.

keep em coming! | if you're going to get an auto. it really doesn't matter what year you get in terms of performance, but the newer the better
the 06 IMO looks much better. and the interior is much nicer as well.

Buy one from the US, maybe seattle... and use that thousands of dollars you saved for a wide body kit and turbo.

also, what is the process like buying a car from the states? Does it have to be local or can it be from a dealer?

If it was built outside the US and brought into the US that wouldn't really make it a US car so you would have to pay some boarder fee's (6.1% of what the car is worth). I think that's how it goes unless someone can correct this.

also with autos, some turbo setups won't work. plus FI setups for the G35 are in the range of 5-10grand before tuning.

is it better to buy the car from the infiniti dealer or is getting it from a 3rd party used car dealer just as good? Its because infiniti dealers sell them for about 30k$ and a 3rd party one ranges around 22k-25k. The difference is huge imo and can easily accommodate a huge portion of my mods.

Again, bmws are EVERYWHERE in the lower mainland as well haha. Just about every asian.
