yeah i'm a bit confused myself. the late-model mk5 jettas had tinted tailights. my mk5 gti tailights look the same as the mk5 rabbit tails

Nice car... much better looking than MKVI.

Don't know what VW's been smoking but the look of the MKVI is going backward...

Daniel, when are we gonna photoshoot our stock black cars? haha
I never knew you JUST joined Revscene, thought you always trolled around.

It's k, my dad bought me my car too. I try to appreciate the gift by enjoying it, and in return I do my role as a good son.

But insurance and gas wise, I have to pay for it, so I rather them bought me a less expensive car so I can actually support it. lol
But then I don't wanna give the car up cuz I understand that I should be greatful that I'm lucky.

Maybe that's why I'm so broke now.
I can't even afford new wheels for it.

Welcome. One of my best friends is exactly in your position, parents just bought him a 4 door white GTI.... Has the exact plans you do LOL downpipe + stage 1 reflash... Just got his license not too long ago as well haha.. Do you go to UBC by any chance? His car had the DSG recall before he even got a chance to pick it up, so they lent him another GTI for the time being...

Being the fact that I'm 20 and never had anyone buy or help me buy my car I actually have respect at the fact you were willing and you seem humble.

All I have to say is welcome and nice ride

Psh that's not J/K. I still get them

Anyway, back on topic. Welcome to the forums my fellow Dub. Oh and I wonder what it would look like if you outlined the front VW sign with red (on the side of sign/around it). It should look decent and accent the grille quite well.

Can the DSG handle the extra torque? When DSG first came out, I believe it couldn't.
