Thx everyone for the gratz... i rarely speed. only on tracks. i've only gotten 2 speeding tickets in my life.

as for the ISF modding. mayb another set of rims and WALD kit for now. there arent many aftermarket parts for ISF yet. (I think)

Mugen EvOlutioN 09-10-2009 12:40 PM

slap on some Advan/VOLKs and lower it, it will be sick

:D

TRD Rs200 09-10-2009 12:47 PM

I've always loved Advan RG2, still doing research on what size and offset I will go with

too_slow 09-10-2009 12:58 PM

You want to mod your car, so you'll get more attention from your GF (and hope that she wont notice your 'rival's' GT-R?) Sounds like an EMO-Initial D cartoon in the making..

Jackygor 09-10-2009 01:06 PM

why IS-F when you can get C63?

RabidRat 09-10-2009 10:14 PM

I don't know how you could go from an S2000 to an ISF.

The S2000 makes 60 less hp than all its competition in the same price range, and it's for a specific set of reasons that it still makes sense to some people.

You find none of these things in an ISF. It's a comfort cruiser with a mandatory slushbox. What's going through your head??

d1 09-10-2009 11:05 PM

What a troll. One day you ask if you should get a turbo or s/c which you weren't going to get anyways then 2 days later say you're getting an IS-F. How about you stop spewing your bullshit?

Like i said, I've always like IS-F and I can finally get one now. I was debating if i should put more money in to my is300/s2000 or get a new car. So i decided to get a new car now.

impactX 09-10-2009 11:55 PM

But IS-F isn't even in the same league as GTR-R35 in a straight line or in corners.

PS: The WALD kit is very nice, someone at my building has it and the line flows well.

Drift_Monkey 09-11-2009 08:16 AM

I still think you should get the C63 AMG.

all you need is some suspension and some rims and your set!!!!

you can save that 6000 to mod your car instead of buying the ISF

The only way to beat a GTR is to be a GTR.
VQ38DETT Swap:rolleyes:

RGII's in hypergold ftw...

but be warned... it's not the strongest wheel i've delt with, just nailing a pothole the wrong way, and i've managed to VERY SLIGHTLY bend the outside lip...

that's cast vs forged for ya.

Mugen EvOlutioN 09-13-2009 08:49 AM

honestly tho when u are running a low profile tires, when u go over a large size of pothole the wrong way or higher speed whether its forged, god like, god made it will still bend no matter what.

Like somebody already said...for the amount of money you're going to have to spend, you're better off getting a GT-R.
Power is only half the battle...you need to worry about traction, reliability, driveability, cooling, chassis reinforcement, fuel, etc.

Even if you could get a power curve up to GT-R territory (not likely, since the motor is just too small), you wouldn't want to daily drive it, which means GT-R still > you

wouldnt need that much power, the S is light 2800lbs

What's funny is one day when you have a new gf and you're rolling in your new IS-F...

This is going to pull up next to you and embarass you in front of your girl again, and then you'll be back at square one LOL

your not going to impress any girls driving a IS-F with a slushbox, spend 2 more grand and buy a manual M3. Yes the autos are faster on cars like the M3, C63, ISF, RS4; but where's the skill and enjoyment in that. Plus, your coming from a s2000, so it's not like you can't drive a manual.

Mugen EvOlutioN 03-09-2010 10:20 AM

700whp on stock block? holly shit!

im surprise the axel, tranny, engine hasnt blow up yet

and yes I am jealous of someone. just so unfair just because his family is rich and he drives a GTR seems like all of a sudden everyone worships him. anyways back on topic. what other cars could I consider if i were not to tc or sc my s2k/is300?

wow thats sad, he needs a cool car to have people like him.
