Group together the population and customer case from the 49 states, you have bulk/wholesale rates.

^ Great commercials. ![LOL](images/smilies/lol3.gif) Have these been aired in BC yet?
If this "no activation fee, no contracts, no stupid extra/hidden charges" is true and their network is half-decent, I'll jump to Wind in a second.
In other news, a lot of my buddies are getting all these calls in the past few weeks from their Rogers reps trying to lock them into contracts. Somebody's getting scared..

Remember that with WIND, you'll have to use all-new AWS 3G phones. They won't be out here for a while, so no, I don't think that the ads have aired here yet.

wow, this is impressive news.
So, to summarize, Bell, Telus, Wind and Dave will all have plans where you are able to purchase their sim card and just plug it into any phone?
Also assuming, their plans will be hotly contested against the present communist rogers and their subsidiary, fido.

I definitely like the idea of no contracts. Has there been any mention of WIND's Data Rates yet?

Go to Chinese mall, get cheap(er) plan with good(er) phone and get (very) locked in for three years. Also, if anything, Rogers/Fido is more Fascist than Communist, but that's off-topic. |

I love the Omnia II. I replaced their interface with SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 though. What? Yeah, with a Windows Mobile phone you actually can use it the way you want to. Amazing, huh?
