Recommend hotels to stay in South Beach and Fort Lauderdale
 

Going on a Caribbean cruise in late november, and I am going to stay 3 nights prior in Miami (boss recommended I stay in South Beach), and 2 nights after in Fort Lauderdale.

Any recommendations on hotels that are well located and relatively inexpensive (prefer $120/nt USD tops)?

Don't need to be super fancy, but not really wanting something like a motel either. Something around 3-star is fine.

South Beach is expensive and $120 isn't going to get you much but that been said you don't want to stay too far from South Beach because you'll waste money on cabs. Your best bet would be tripadvisor, just search "south beach" and you'll get different prices for different hotels with user reviews and feedback.
