Nokia 8800/8600 cheap vs expensive

Ill keep this short.

E-Bay

Nokia 8800 - $300 USD
Nokia 8800 - $800 USD

The cheap one clearly disclaims that

- their phones are assembled in China but parts are from Finland. The sticker also reads made in finland.

- the IMEI checks out

- all the Nokia codes work

- all the numbers on the phone are authentic and function with the phone

- its got all the appropriate specs (some replica phones had only 128mb of memory and a shit camera, etc)

- comes with all the appropriate accessories

examples:

http://cgi.ebay.com/4GB-Nokia-8800-C...d=p3286.c0.m14

http://cgi.ebay.com/Unlocked-New-Nok...d=p3286.c0.m14

Now the real thing sits in the stores at 1200-1600 depending and around $700 USD on E-bay.

Now, I've had gangster phones before but I just cannot see myself blowing more than $600 on a phone. In my mind, its absurd. My question to you all is: how bad are the "inexpesive" versions of this phone claiming to be the real thing. How do they feel? Anyone bought one? All function well or is it a scam? My bro bought the Luna a few years back and its sick. I want something that feels, looks and functions like his Luna, but dont wanna pay a storm. Is this thing worth the money? Looks very good from the pics.

Currently have the LG Secret and its beautiful and awesome to hold and feel but laggy like Windows 95.

Any feedback would be nice.

p.s. im even willing to buy the Luna, but they still sit at like $600 USD

If it's too good to be true it probably is. First all those phones are located in china. Secondly all the sellers have really low feedback with 100%rating. If you click their feedback links and view some of the items they're all BS and crap ones .99 or less used to bump their %. Third. Pictures and stickers can be faked. That could well be a copied imei or something. I wouldn't touch those at all.
