How's the insurance? I'm wondering which is cheaper to insure... Civic Si 4DR or the Genesis 2.0T 2DR.

Hm, better drop in at BCAA! I got quoted ~2800 for the 4DR Si, 300/300/2mil/15kmSchool.

I wonder how much discount I can get on a 2.0GT? I want the LSD/Brembos/Xenon if possible.

Please post where you got it and who you got it from and what was the "deal".

Or if you want to be discreet, please PM me as I'm looking to get a genesis as well around March.

What is the "suggestion" per the owner's manual?

Is 91 (premium) actually recommended?

hey guys I am picking it up at 530 today. I got a 2010 model with premium package. the sticker price was 29640 i believe is what he said he gave me $1000 dollars off, and he included the protectioin pack for free a 900 dollar value it gives you undercoat, leather protection, rust protection, and a few others things i forget. and keeps your interior under warranty for 10 years. and he also added the tint for free it was not the stock tint it was darker, and the reason i got that for free is because he forgot to mention that the tint was going to cost extra until afterwards. O yay and I bought it at jim pattison hyundai in coquitlam I highly recommend them great service. I dealt with Chris he was a great guy. and also the genesis comes with a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty.

Ill post pics when i pick it up tonight

POST PICS NOWWWW!!!!

And more on the deal... Like an in-depth play by play of what happened the second you walked into the dealership to the point where you signed on the dotted line.

last month the salesman said he'd knock almost 4 grand off...
Today went into same dealership, said no more discounts, and not even a demo for me FML
I'm just gonna get a GTI it's more practical even though it can't do powerslides and whatnot, it's still a great car.

They seem to be pretty low on 2.0T's at least at the richmond dealership, It's a huge turnoff now that there's no discount
Oh well, there's more in the market and frankly the rear seat is too unbearable in the genesis.

Korean cars/products have really picked up their reputation and quality in the past few years. It has been their strategy to start selling stuff a bit below market value & the raise their prices when they gain a decent market share. Case in point Samsung. Better get these Genesis before they raise their price.
