bcit diploma-> sfu question

im graduating this term from bcit and getting my diploma in electrical and computer engineering. my original plan was going to the bridging program at Camosun then transfer to UVic year 3. But since that program starts in July every year i don't feel like wasting 6 month doing nothing. So i thought i would apply to SFU's spring semester which starts in Jan.

My question is has anyone does this before? what are some of the requirements and what kind of transfer credit can u get?

I transferred some credit over from BCIT, but my admission to SFU wasn't based on my SFU grades.

You will most likely get credit for your BCIT work. I don't know what that will be. It's a block transfer credit, meaning you're only getting it because you completed your program. It'll probably be about 30 - 36 credits. Obvious classes you will get credit for are Calc I and II.

...there's only one way to answer this completely. Book an appointment with SFU Academic Advising/Admissions... then you know it's straight from the source instead of some random on RS. :)
