ASK: LG TE365 Help ( Rogers )
 

Hi guys,

Yesterday I got the LG TE365 with rogers.
Before I was thinking of getting pre paid card, however I got their 25 per month plan 3 year contract. After getting the phone, I regret that I did not spend time to study about what i actually wanted.

This TE365, I was expecting to have a cable attaching onto the computer. However it only comes with an ear phone and a charger.

If I want to upload mp3, pictures and applications into my phone, do I need to get one of those sd card with a slot, in order for the micro card to be inserted? What are those things called? SD adapters?

if u used less than 30min u can still return it.

i believe ur referring to the SD card readers which can be brought at any computer store.

you might want to find out whether Rogers allows users to upload "downloaded music" to the phone. It's possible they don't even allow you to load your own music on, forcing you to purchase the music from Rogers.

After you determine whether you actually can load music on to it, your options are:
a) buy a data cable
b) buy a microSd card reader
c) exchange it for another phone

^or get it unlocked.

There must be a reason why the data cable doesn't come with the package...
I will try getting the microSD card reader first.
If it doesn't work, then I'll go plan C.

I found that the micro sd adapter/reader doesn't work on the TE365.
You drag the files from your computer into the chip card, and inserting into the cell phone. It only shows that there is an external memory card. But you open the folder it's blank. I also been reading online, they say that purposely crippled the sd card reader application. It's really gay, however, there is another way.
I use my other cell phone to upload the mp3 and pictures that i want. Then blue tooth them into my TE365. It's a slow process, but it works.

Also, some rants i heard that the cell should be a full touch screen cell, somehow they disable it as well, making it only touch screen when you dial.. it makes no sense, just like they never included a usb cable.

u should unlock the phone and it will be so much easier and better to use.
