hahah yeah..

Well.. It is better to have it a little more than 2% than at 1% or less.

i started the account on September 20th, so will the deposit from 20th to 30ht of September not be valid for the extra interest rate?

I didn't know the account was there until the 2nd. The day I posted was the day I transferred my funds.

interest rates are so hurting that this will mean nothing.

2% of $5000 is $100, taxed at 40% == $40 tax saved.

Honestly not worth it, setup an investment account, I have a TFSA at iTrade.
