back on topic! where can i buy individual sharpies?!

seakrait 10-03-2009 04:02 PM

do they need to be "sharpies"? i'm sure art stores like Opus or Loomis would have permanent pens in varying colours. or have you checked them already?

also, just so you know what's available... www.sharpie.com

Inaii 10-03-2009 04:09 PM

Opus carries Sharpies. That's where I bought my set from. They're a little on the expensive side though. Loomis should as well. Check stationary stores too, they normally have the individual ones for sale. I'm going to Stupidstore shortly, so I'll check for you while I'm there :)

Pocakj 10-03-2009 04:30 PM

That's some great artwork though, wow

Baley 10-03-2009 07:47 PM

isnt that shit toxic? Wudnt it give u skin cancer even more?

Why not use crayola coloring pens? I use those to draw on skin and it works just as well. And it doesnt smell lol.

If you go on the sharpie website, it specifically says not harmfull nor toxic. Alot of tattoo artist use sharpies to draw out the design befor they tattoo

chic604 10-04-2009 04:17 PM

Truong, they have them at Michaels on Byrne Rd. I was there a few weeks ago and bought some. If I remember correctly, they were on the right side when you walk in, and in the back corner - Brit :)

Crayola doesn't last as long, and the colours aren't as vibrant I find.

They only had the same sets as Staples did (Superstore). So I would try a local art supplies store. Or like someone said, Michael's.

Check Opus on Granville Island. Loomis is now called DeSerres.

I can help you get a discount at Opus on Granville Island if you go there and I'm at school.
