weird.

this reminds me of something similar, but opposite: i remember long ago i was at a dealership waiting for service, listening to another customer bitching to a service advisor about how his car was slow to accelerate and he demanded that it get fixed because it was brand new and under warranty. So the mechanics went at it couldn't find anything mechanically wrong... until some time later someone noticed that the cheapass crappy tire aftermarket carpeted floor mats that the owner had installed were so thick, it limited the gas pedal's travel so that it couldn't reach full throttle

Toyota IS350?

you mean Toyota Altezza?

Now that Lexus is in Japan as well they don't call it an Altezza anymore.
