AMG was a lot better when they first started out...back in the days of the Hammer and Baby Hammer....

shenmecar 10-08-2009 06:18 PM

They had the E55/E63 AMG Wagon in the states? Thought that was Europe only

godwin 10-08-2009 09:39 PM

Assuming the US gets 50% of all AMG produced.. which means the majority of AMGs will be eligible for ICBC to consider it as collector cars in 15 years.

Guess they just don't sell as well as in europe.

Prostrho 10-09-2009 11:10 AM

the Brabus kitted one isn't a R63. Its a R500 if i remember correctly.

Canada also got the E55/E63 wagon, but it was special order.

godwin 10-09-2009 01:15 PM

You could.. just call Mercedes CA to with your VIN and explain what you are trying to do. They will make an official letter out to you.

However to get collectors plate.. everything including stereo must be period correct or stock.

Also you can't drive it to work or school at all.
