Greece, portugal, spain are basically fucking everyone in the EU and making investors uber nervous.

Until they realize that the US dollar is actually weaker, then they are screwed. Stick with the Loonie.

if you have a credit card attached to ur paypal; use your credit card to purchase (through paypal)

your CC's exchange rate will be used and its better than paypals

Hmmm.... What...?

How do you even compare those markets?

It is like comparing an elephant to a mouse. They (US & Euro market) are substantially larger than us.

What do you mean you cant compare those markets? Size has nothing to do with financial health. You can start looking at their 13trillion in debt and how the feds can barely keep up trying to print money. Factor in their 19 month straight trade deficit and you get an economic system fueled by credit.

Although our trade surplus are slowing shirnking, we are still have one of the strongest economy amongst the G7 nations.

Razor Ramon HG 05-20-2010 06:27 PM

It's under conversion settings when during payment.

Clearly, the oil spill off the coast of Louisiana was orchestrated by the US Government in order for the Canadian dollar to drop.

Absolutely. Those buggers definitely don't want you to pay via credit card. Each time I choose that option, a window pops up trying to convince you not to use credit card. I think Credit card is safer, not the other way around. Plus, your credit card doubles your warranty if what you buy comes with any, doesn't it?

take everything from RussiaToday with a grain of salt.

They are anti-American and more or less follow the 9/11 Truth movements and other conspiracy theorists

actually with paypal you have a few options..the default is paying with bank account with their exchange rate...

and you can actually change the payment method to using your credit card..either billed in the original currency of the transaction OR using paypal's rate...

i personally find that paypal's rate is actually slightly better than my TD visa..but that's just me..
the only thing with being billed in for example U.S currency is that if you return something you get dinged on the 2.5% add on by your cc BOTH WAYS..when you pay and when you get your money back...whereas with paypal from my experience i've had the exact amount refunded to me...
so you take a risk either way..
