Went to the Munich, Geremy BMW factory last summer. This factory was right across from BMW World and the Museum. They only made 3 series at that plant, can't remember where they were all destined for, but if you get a chance to go, it is amazing to see a car built from start to finish.

There are some South African made 3 series for the states. No, they are not inferior quality compared to the ones made in Germany.

everything else is in Munich, Germany | Not true. BMW also has plants in Leipzig and Dingolfing (both in Germany), and possibly another site or two.
