it's definitely a sticky situation and most people wouldn't get involved but personally I think he did the right thing by giving that poor guy a heads up. If the guy chooses to go any further with it or not that's up to the bf. He did it tastefully and discreetly its not like he called her out in front of him or made a scene.

But then that would mean she's texting her husband saying she's not happy with her sideman

Over heard this conversation tonight with a guy running past me by Whistler village to wave down a hotels shuttle bus. He was asking if the bus driver could take him, his kids and wife to the location the bus was headed to (some hotel). The guy was saying that the hotel destination is a closer walking distance than from Whistler village, this was at like 11pm and pretty cold tonight. The bus driver said that he couldn't take them to his hotel but that he would make a detour trip to drop them off right infont of their hotel.

Went on a Starbucks date tonight and there was a guy outside asking for change for a coffee... I looked at him and said "you want a coffee? Go inside I will buy you one" the guy seemed really surprised and said ok. I walked inside my date was standing there that I have never met before and bought us 3 drinks and he went on our merry way..

Talk about a perfect way to score points and I didn't even think about it when I offered and talk about a long date since this all happened at 6pm and I just got home :)

Gave a guy my campus all day parking slip

I was in Safeway paying for some milk and eggs and wanted to pay with my prepaid MasterCard, but forgot the amount remaining. I do, however, recall that I should have enough credits. So I swiped the card once, declined. I figured I try again, but nope, declined. Just when I was about to bring out my credit card, a man behind me told the cashier that he got my tab and handed over his debit card. I was shocked that he barely hesitated. Thanked him for the offer and told him that I do have a working credit card. Awesome feeling knowing that there are still people like that out there.

That's funny because I did exactly that when I was in a big hurry a few years ago. Kid's card declined twice and I was impatient. It was only a few bucks and I'm sure it made his day.

ppl need to stop doing this cus it might cause the person who took the parking slip to receive a parking ticket. i know some parking lots r starting to record down license plates so if on their 2nd patrol the plates dont match to the first record they'll issue that vehicle a ticket for not paying even tho the stall technically has been "paid for 24hrs" alrdy.

Wow. That's just a company being greedy as fuck. Meter Maids for the city might as well start doing this too then. I know there are times I don't have small change, and throw a toonie in the meter (typ. 40 minutes) and am only around for 10-15 minutes and the next guy gets the remainder.

Held the door for 2 teenagers as I was leaving mcdonalds. They thought I was just a door stopper. Lol
Fucking kids these day have no manners.

what are they syncing up to the plates though? the serial on the paper ticket? yea right.

Was at New West public library parking today waiting for a friend, when I noticed the car next to me had the key stuck in the door.

After my friend came out, we waited there until the owner of the car came running back with a panicked look on his face.

Gave him the key I was holding, wished him a Merry Christmas :)

not that hard, just really labor intensive

they print out a list of stalls that paid for 24hrs of parking at let say 1:00PM and see that stall number 100 has paid at 12:50PM and records down the license plate of the vehicle as 001 XXA, then lets say at 3:00PM they print out another list of paid stalls and sees stall 100 has paid at 12:50PM but this time the vehicle license plate is 069 FGT which means the first vehicle has paid and left the stall and a new vehicle has parked into the stall without paying

like i said really labor intensive, i suspect those lot attendants r paid commission based on how many tickets they can issue, thats y they work so hard on catching unpaid stalls
