Personally I liked Gamer much more than this movie. It reminded of the stupid Saw movies but more mainstream (if that's possible) and blatant attempt at social criticism was laughable. The whole premise of the movie is just too ridiculous to enjoy. My eyes hurt from rolling so often.
saw it loved it... but got a question from the beginning first part of the movie
Spoiler!
how does the proposed justice system work? when Darby testified against Amez, how come Amez can't testify against Darby? Also, if Darby doesn't testify, would it mean Amez and Darby will probably get around 10 years of jail? They both didn't get death sentences because there were "insufficient" evidence.. but if that doesn't work, if both of them plead not guilty, then wouldn't they just be let off the hooks?
just got home from watching it,
definitely a very twisted plot--in the good way.
I'm not much of a movie critic by any means, so I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Spoiler!
but the thing that got me was when he killed his inmate with the steak rib--I went in thinking it was one of those psycho killer murder films with mostly explosions, didn't see that one coming.
