So the one I'm looking at now is 17500 with PDI in,
"twilight" blue, (maybe that'll help with the LG hunting )
5 speed manual
XR 3 door coupe
Has MP3 capability
Leather and heated seats
traction stabilitrak and that bs
and that's about it.

Is 17500 out the door, or you have to add taxes on top?

Yeah before tax, so just about 20k with tax in

but then you add 1000 to the down payment from GM Loyalty
And an extra 800 for first 2 payments
But interest rate for 36 month finance is about 5.7%

I thought the $7000 incentive is for cash purchases only! 5.7% is pretty high.. Get a loan from the bank from your parents to co-sign, and you should be able to get one in the 2% range..

I see, it's a GMAC loan, but I'll look into that, my parents are co-signing, the car is going under my brother's name because he has a GM vehicle and recently graduated.

The OD line interest is also only about 4.5% LOL

It's only about a couple hundred difference on such a cheap car though.

In my book, always walk into a dealership with cash in hand, else it just saps your negotiation power.

Just picked it up today

$2300ish a year insurance on 25% discount
pretty cheap IMO, probably cheaper than a civic or a smart car

Funny story

Spider stuck inside the headlight, don't know how to get it out...

On my way to richmond from langley, saw SG outside of lansdowne, doubt he saw me though.

Clutch takes a little getting used to, very light and catch point is way higher than the Z which is in about the middle.

On my way home got a taste of my own medicine while the Z was following me, FUCK HIDs!!! >.<

Another funny story on my way to richmond, tried calling on star, waited for phone to ring for at least a minute... lady answers, "how may i help you" then hangs up on me

^nowhere to be found,
I found a set of the 5 spoke Sky ones that look similar, but the guy sold them, he still has a chrome set, but not really digging the chrome.

Tirerack has a good selection but locally not much in 5x110, surprising since the cobalt uses this bolt pattern too.

Get the dealer to replace the headlight for you. You have warranty, don't do it yourself. Modern headlights are sealed, and you don't want any moisture problems down the line.

The astra would be an even better car if GM stuffed the LNF into it...

On second thought, I don't think it's sealed all that tight, I checked today and was shocked to find THE SPIDER WAS ALIVE!!! Crawling all over the housing, made himself a nice spider web. I'll be sure to bring it back, Those lightbulbs look like a pain in the ass to change anyways.
