Hey Guys,
Just wanted to update this thread with some first hand recent experience with Gerrard and his fender rolling skills! I Couldn't be happier. First and foremost, Gerrard is extremely meticulous. Even despite having forgotten some tools at home (he came to my place), he didn't just wing it and decide to do a hack job but picked up the stuff from the local canadian tire.
My car then also was a pain in the ass because it had factory seam sealant (German grade!) all along the inside of the fender and again, he didn't just say fuck it and roll it with the shit still in there, he took hours cutting it out so the job was done properly.
The fenders look absolutely mint and there was absolutely ZERO cracking of the paint.
Many thanks to his buddy Eric (also at serialnine I believe) that helped out.
They even helped me tie up some loose ends with the car we discovered while doing the rolling (cracked spring perch).
Not that it was any question before but it's always nice to hear some actual first hand experiences. I would never hesitate to recommend Gerrard. He clearly has wicked work ethic but honestly what made it even better is that he is a solid guy to work with.
Thanks guys!
For Reference: Car is a 2002 325ci

so many posts in this thread.
what's a good shop to have my rear arches rolled for a good price.
I found two places that do $70 to roll each fender.

Gerrard did a really good job rolling/pulling my old 350z's quarter panels and takes his time. -15 offset for 19/10 rim.

this is the thread which able me to find G (Gerard@SerialNine).
had the car done last week. just like 02'topaz was saying in the earlier post. G was extremely meticulous. spend almost 3hours just doing the rear fenders alone.
I would highly recommend G to anyone who wants a proper rolling job done.
you can reach him best here ..... Gerard@SERIALNINE.com
Thanks again G.
Alan

Found this thread while trying to find a place to roll fenders. Contacted Gerard and he got back to me shortly after. Was super glad he was still doing this service.
His work in the end was flawless, and you can really tell he tries to make everything perfect throughout the process. Also, he's a really cool guy to talk to as well. Spent the whole time talking shit while he rolled my fenders.
Like said above, if he didn't have something, he'll quickly zip to home depot to grab it. He couldn't find his heat gun and instead of calling it a day and rescheduling, he actually zipped to home depot and bought another one. Also, he helped close a huge gap on my bumper that I thought was stock till he pointed it out, hahaha.
Highly recommend anyone looking for their fenders rolled to contact Gerard.

Just got my fenders rolled today by Gerard. I am 110% happy and satisfied by his quality of work. He did not crack my paint and meticulously took his time. HIGHLY recommend him for rolling fenders and just a nice guy to talk to about anything. Anyone looking to get their fenders rolled properly and in high quality, just go to Gerard. Will definitely go to him again, for any fender work. Easiest way to contact him is through e-mail...gerard@serialnine.com.
Thanks again, G |

If I could get all yanked for 180 it would be awesome.

A lot of time, heat, patience, and effort. All while the customer is hovering behind you. Smoking. Watching.

Definitely takes time and patience, and of course the owner doesn't want to see any cracks in the paint.
I have been renting out my Eastwood fender roller for years here in Victoria. I refuse to roll people's fenders for them though because I don't want to be liable for damage.
