~Help~ is it possible to view MMS on Htc Tytn 2 without data ?!??!
 

i need to view and save the mms files from a htc tytn 2 on rogers. but i dont have a data plan. also ive tired turning wireless off, and using outlook to sync but those 2 doesnt work. is there any other options? or i have to borrow someone elses sim who has data option? :confused: thanks!!

mms isnt data, but you might get charged with recieving the mms, wont be paying more than 50cents i think. but yea, you wont get raped by data charges.

So if a user was sent a video via MMS, you wouldn't need data to download it?

AFAIK, user pays MMS fee plus data on top.

no you dont, its just a type of sms that lets you include videos and or pictures. MMS does not require 3G so u dont need data

yup mms =/= data

think of it as, you received a SMS. that SMS is now on your phone. you receive a MMS. that MMS is now one your phone. basically you already have the picture/video or w/e it is. and now you just want to save it to your phone. No data/extra fees required.

the only thing different is a SMS = $0.25 and a MMS = $0.50 (when not on any SMS/MMS plans)
