Audi A4 2002-2005 Hello revscene, I recently started looking at A4 for my next car and just wanted to hear some reviews about it. How are they for reliability? Mechanical and over all? Reason I would like to hear your experiences because my brother owned 2001 Jetta which Is like copy of A4 and he had nothing but pain. Mechanical was ok beside fried turbo at 120k, but interior...... Cup holders fell off, radio stopped working, glove compartment didn't close, dash lights got burned and pretty much over all pathetic quality. Please guys post your cons and pros thank you Posted via RS Mobile |

Stay away from the 2002-2003 models, unless you like to replace coilpacks, etc.. 2004,2005 1.8T models come with a 6spd gearbox, and uses newer coilpacks. If the car has over 100,000kms, make sure you change the timing belt and the waterpump on it (It's not that expensive if you do it at a reputable VW shop : JS, JMP) If you're thinking of importing one from the states, try to look for an 'ultrasport' model. It has sport seats, black headliner, sport suspension, s4 skirts, 18" wheels, and a subtle, yet very sexy aero kit moulded into the bumper.. http://www.eimports4less.com/images/...s/DSC05230.JPG |
I'm actually hunting for a B7 A4 Avant myself.. The S-Line + 6spd manual models are super hard to find :( |
