From Achoo to Ow Two days ago my sinuses were flaring up as a result of a doctor's visit. I spent most of that afternoon sneezing. By the time the night came I was still sneezing and I noticed that my ribs (left side only) hurt. It hasn't gone away yet and I don't want to go to a doctor for something that could be frivalous. My ribs only hurt when I bend the wrong way, cough, or sneeze. They've been getting better slightly and the surface of the skin isn't tender or discoloured. Should I be worried? |
I've had the same thing occur to me once - I came down with a pretty severe cold and was coughing/sneezing a lot. I think the pain in your ribs is caused by muscle aches (like when you work out a little too much). Personally, I didn't really think much about it and it went away after my cold went. I could be wrong though - if you think there's something more by all means get it checked out. |
After seeing Dr. Crusher in the Sick Bay I was able to get through it. All better. |
Maybe get it checked out by a Doctor if it doesn't go away. My ex g/f actually cracked her rib from a sneeze. |
