Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it? From the home screen, when I click a letter, lets say A to call someone starting with A, it will go to the list and I scroll down over a name and it will sometimes show mobile number first but on other contacts it might show work number first or home number or other fields. Is there a way I can make it consistent?

Anyone having a problem with Gmail on their BB? When I delete a msg in my Gmail through the web browser, it wont delete it off my blackberry. Yet if I delete it off my blackberry, it will delete it from my gmail (webbrowser) instantly.

Whats the deal?

They don't have 9700, i paid 450 for mine.

Is the sloping trackpad a common problem on these fones? Anyone on here have ne problems with the trakcpad? Mine has been fine since I got it but I'm worried it might "sink" in or slope to one side? Some input wud be great

Whats your trackpad sensitivity set as? I've read if you have it set at sub-60 that the pressure will cause it to sink. So I set mine to max 100 to reduce friction & prevent this from happening.

I set mine to 70, having it on 100 is way to sensitive for me, 70 on vertical and horizontal feels most comfortable for me, I heard that a lot of the first batch rogers 9700's made in mexico have the sloping trackpad problem, I don't mind payin a few bucks to fix it if it happens, but I'm just curious to kno if its happened to anyone here? And if so how has it effected the overall working order of the fone ?

Just got the black bezels in.
one in matte and one glossy.

there's a gap, but it's not even noticeable.
i've bought from truesupplier and sw-box.
truesupplier has the better ones.

The trackpad issue is due to the ribbon cord having a bit too much tension on the pad itself. Everyone's pad is flat if u laid it on a table. Its just that the connector is on the back of the mainboard and it has to pass thru this spot to reach the trackpad which is on the front of the mainboard. This little bend in the cord through the slot causes it to pull to the top right corner always. If you opened it up and somehow gave the cord more slack you could solve the tilting problem but I found regardless its a minor annoyance that doesnt hinder anything.
