can someone tell me how to setup the WAP/fido internet with a unlocked 9700?

fix to wobbly trackpad

The fix to the loose keypad is scotch tape, but you gotta have the balls to open up the phone. When you open the phone, and remove the keyboard, the track pad hangs loosely over a clicky button thing on the motherboard of the phone. I applied 3 tiny squares of tape over the clicky button nub under the the trackpad and closed everything back up. The 3 layers of tape are thick enough to push against the trackpad from below and eliminate the wobble and tilted look.

PS: The trackpad comes with a small drop of glue on the bottom that keeps it snug to the clicky button nub on the motherboard, but when you drop it (as I did) or use it a lot, the glue loosens and the trackpad starts floating loose.

So is there anyway to view the time while browsing the internet Or having programs open?

Holding the "blackberry button" and switching to the "home app"?

saucywoman 09-14-2010 07:05 PM

i meant to have the time display without having to go back to the main screen on whatever screen you were on, but I am guessing not

You could bind one of the convenience keys to the clock application. All it would do is create an overlay over the existing screen, and you can just hit back to go back to whatever it was you were looking at.

It went official.

I read that it increased app memory. Did you experience that?

a lot of people had problems with 0.862 (leaked) and actually downgraded back to .656 etc

Personally, I'm just waiting for 6.0 !

6insomnia9 09-15-2010 02:04 AM

Gh0stRider 09-16-2010 11:51 PM

not sure yet, haven't installed it yet.

6insomnia9 09-17-2010 12:04 AM

There are never change logs when an OS is leaked.

It is expected that the 9780 will be picked up by October or November , although it is a rumor i hope it happens because , <3 5mp cam and double the speed.

jeedee 09-20-2010 05:05 PM

my "answer call" button fell off when I was changing housing LOL

Luckily, I ordered my black housing and sw-box sent me an extra keypad weeks ago =)

6insomnia9 09-20-2010 06:20 PM

I'm not loading anymore leaks unless it is the OS6 one which is expected to come out before the end of this month or the beginning of the next.. *cross fingers*

Vansterdam 09-20-2010 06:27 PM

anyone here order the white housing from sw-co to realize the bottom white piece dosen't fit/snap on properly? lol i already lost my piece over the weekend

jeedee 09-20-2010 07:09 PM

^me. Cause I kept prying it off and on LOL

6insomnia9 09-20-2010 07:16 PM

Well i'm going to give up on changing my housing, from cheap low end places like sw-co , the condition of the parts i have purchase are in terrible condition as the paint of it is being worn off.

I plan to place my next order at http://www.colorwarepc.com/ because you are able to customize any of the parts to wherever color you desire, it is a bit pricey but they seem to have good reviews from people on www.crackberry.com and the product isn't cheap like sw-co and other companys, i rather spend whatever amount it is on colorwarepc than keep ordering parts that will add up to the price of colorwarepc housing.

my 2 cents.
