Anyone try Tether? I tried the trial and it was pretty damn easy to use...but it costs $50...anyone know if tethering with rogers has been discussed in this thread? And what page, thanks.

Curious if this is just a feature on my phone or Is this how bb's are. When your phone battery reaches the red zone does all your networking shut off? Like the ability to bbm, call, and go on the internet?

it does that when it reaches like 2% or 3% so the phone doesnt shut off, but you can still view your msgs/emails and calender and such

Is it just me or when you scroll up when looking at sms/bbm the cursor dissapears? I can't tell which line i'm on :S.
as a work around, pressing the "shift" key will show the cursor

i installed it while i was at work on thu... interestingly enough, the install time was super quick, much quicker than when i updated my my curve to OS5.

I like the interface - a few little quirks at the moment; I don't know if they are bugs, or just quirks.

Definitely loving the OS in general though! Absolutely loving the browser!!! Such a difference!!

i noticed that my bold 9700 (nor bb desktop manager 6.0) does not detect the card even though the card works fine when i tested the card on the PC.

I'm using OS 5.0.0.442 and when i go to OPTIONS > MEMORY, it says at the bottom "A media card is not currently inserted in the device". There is no format card option in the menu and i did format the card on PC instead and still didn't work. And i'm 100% sure i inserted the card correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check with another card, if it is the SD reader, then call it in.
