Yaa. Probably the best leak so far for me as the memory leak is a lot better than previous versions of os6. I haven't noticed anything else as of yet. Runs smooth for me. Posted via RS Mobile | |

My FB feels so screwed up. It's like the cursor position moves faster than the scrolling. I'll be looking at one post but the cursor will be like 20 posts down and I have to scroll slowly to get it back to where I was.

I didn't get the chance to go through 52 pages worth of material, but is it true that a 9700 sold by Rogers/Fido differs from that of a Wind version? Therefore, unlocking a Rogers/Fido 9700 does not necessarily mean it will be compatible w/ Wind or Mobilicity? Please let me know, thanks in advance.

Yes they have different GSM/HPSA frequency. If you are on Wind/Mobilicity you should get a Wind/Mobilicity/T-mobile 9700 as it uses a different GSM band. The wind/mobilicity/tmobile 9700s will still work on Rogers/Fido/Telus/Bell but you will only get a 2G signal as oppose to a 3G signal. Rogers/Fido/Telus/Bell/AT&T pretty much the same 9700 just locked to their respective networks.

anyone ever encountered a problem where you get an occasional white screen but the phone isn't frozen or anything? it fixes when you lock and unlock the phone.
i did a wipe, OS update (and downgrade tried 3 different OS)
but no luck.

but no luck. | Happened to me once. Left facebook running for like 30 minutes and got the white screen. I just did a battery pull and everything went back to normal. Try a battery pull.

No difference between the leaked versions. So if you have a leak installed already, don't bother installing this one.

anyone seem to have their BIS disconnect with OS6 leaked version on the 9700. I updated it before and at times my browser, pin, and just trying to stream music stops working..

hm tried to update earlier on my bold 9000. basically stopped halfway, got a reconnecting jvm error and then got a 507 error. any solutions that has worked for anyone so far?
