Turn the vibrate off? Change the sound profile? Change the vibrate count to 1? |
That would permanently turn off the vibrate My sound profile is on vibrate I did that as well but it keep constantly vibrating every 5 seconds |
Soo today I saw an almost new barely used white 9700 for $250.. I went to buy it for the sake of having a white one to match my black 9780. The dude said he knew nothing about blackberry and he knew everything about iphones so he sold it to me. My gf was playing with it on the ride home and I was wondering why OS6 was loaded on it. Turns out I got a 9780!!!! Unfortunately, my gf has a white 9700 so it looks like I'll be taking her 9700 instead... haha! |
..Are you sure it's a 9780? He could've just loaded OS6 onto the 9700 prior to selling it to you lol |
Yep, says so on the device and on the box. I don't know why I didn't pick up on it. Posted via RS Mobile |
^ dam dude you got hooked up! must be good karma for helping me save a bunch of money from activating a new plan just for BBM lol |
hey guys, got a 9780 a month ago :D pretty satisfied with it but still using a iphone d: anyways, i just changed housings on the 9000 after the housing change i got the white screen problem. i could receive texts and everything, but screen is just white. during the housing change, i pulled off the white lens to put my pink lens on the white lens came off with black glass/plasticy material and it was all cracked once it was off.. kinda scared that its part of the lcd.. people tell me its just a firmware problem and they had it before.. is there a simple solution to this or is this really the lcd's problem? people just told me to update the firmware or battery pull. googled it and thats what to do too.. laptop is at my frnds place and desktop is being used for an important project right now so i cant update firmware anytime soon anyone had this problem before and know the fix? how exactly does the battery pull work? charge for one hour and pull the battery after 15 minutes or what? thanks in advance. if its really the lcd's problem i ordered a new one so its all good lol |

All I did was a battery pull and it went back to normal. To do a battery pull: Simple, take the battery cover out Take the battery out Wait for 30 seconds or so Put the battery back in Let the phone load The phone should have atleast 20% of battery. The higher the better I guess. Give us some updates after |
i have a white screen... but everything else works. |
hey guys whats the newest most stable version of OS6? can someone send a link thanks |
can anyone help me. Bought a micro sdhc from ebay and put some music in but got a message saying fatal errors cannot be accessed or someshit. Msged the dude and he gave me my money have as well as sent another sd card. Came today and i put my music in. Worked for awhile but then it said fatal error again. Tried everything. Format, repair, and plugging it into something else tooo. no luck |
Just curious, was the seller from Asia [eg. China/Hong Kong/ etc?] If so, stay FAR AWAY from these types of sellers. Unless stated, their sd cards are not OEM and usually are the fake shit. You're better off buying from RS/Craigslist/ an authorized store dealer that won't get a fatal error message. |
yeah the guy was from toronto. Dont think it was a scam. Got my money back and another card. |
^ go ncix dude.. 8GB card for 20$ cant go wrong :) http://ncix.com/products/?sku=40184&...cture=Kingston |

http://m.crackberry.com/leaked-black...0-os-6-0-0-448 OS 6.0.0.424 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700: http://crackberry.com/leaked-os-6-0-...erry-bold-9700 OS 6.0.0.418 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700: http://crackberry.com/leaked-os-6-0-...erry-bold-9700 I'm running .418 and getting alot of memory leaks. .424 has less memory leaks according to another RS member. .448 is the best/fastest/better OS release than .424 according to crackberry users IMO go with .448 |
They flawless?? Posted via RS Mobile |
New leak.. http://crackberry.com/official-os-6-...-9780-three-uk EDIT: My bad, read it as 461 not 448. |
Still stuck with the 9700, not that I'm complaining. I'll probably buy the next Bold if it looks worth the upgrade. If not the 9780 will be mine. |
installed 448, i dont see anything new or updated. |
|
9780 not worth the upgrade IMO.. I've only used mine for maybe 5 hours and its just laying on my desk waiting to be sold.. Or maybe I'm not not suitable to use blackberries d: Posted via RS Mobile |
If you have a 9700 already, just install OS6. There isn't much point upgrading to a 9780. |
I agree. It basically feels like a 9780 with os6 installed. It's better to wait for a new redesign bold whenever that may be. |
9700 is such a solid phone once you update to OS6 I hated the loading startup time for OS5 Posted via RS Mobile |
anyone trying the new os6 leak? any problems so far? |
