Drove across the bridge to pick up my brother in-law from work. So windy! Thought I was going to get blown over! haha

On the bright side, Lacate says this means the snowpack will continue to build on the local ski hills.

couldn't sleep last night from the rattling caused by the shit fit of the window screen insert rattling by my ear.....

My car tent is still up, so I'm all good. It was pretty darn scary at times last night. If the wind had been northerly, the tent would be in the next neighbourhood, LOL.

The power finally came back on about half an hour ago making the outage a 14 hour stretch on Bowen Island.

So many trees were down and the ferry was way behind schedule due to the waves and having to operate the loading ramp by generator. With the shop and so many service calls requiring power, I was sent home half way through the day.

At home, I finally put together the BBQ I got for X-mas so I could cook some warm food.
