I dropped off my last load of wood waste when the rain started coming down. I could actually see the oil come up on the roads. Kinda scary driving a big truck when that happens and a bunch of drivers around you start freaking out and randomly slam on their brakes.

thunder was right on top of my house constantly and there was this huge crackling of lightning across the sky was pretty intense

still hear the odd rumbling from the distance now

I've been at the point where I've heard the thunder at the same time as seeing the flash. Nothing like being in Tornado Alley during thunderstorms!
