I miss the lighting storms of growing up in the prairies.

Lighting, thunder, down poor rain to hail to sunny skies all within 1 hour. I miss that smell after the rain lifts and the sun comes out in the summer.

I'm from Winnipeg and nothing beats a good summer storm

The wind is making this panel rattle and scrape against something on my neighbour's house.
Sounds exactly like someone shoveling snow on the sidewalk.
:fuuuuu:

Can hear it in my master bedroom. Going to be annoying trying to sleep tonight.

i-vtecyo 10-21-2014 11:52 PM

lost power for 1 second and my house alarm went off. My frighten Pomeranian, sleeping peacefully on his bed ran towards me with his tail and ears down asking to be picked up. :joy:

BC Hydro estimates power won't be restored until 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Serious wind in Ladner last night. Lots of trees down on my way in to work this morning. Power would shut off for a minute then click back on. It was trippy watching the whole neighborhood go dark for a moment.

yray 10-22-2014 08:00 AM

slept through it :fuckthatshit:

mb_ 10-22-2014 08:29 AM

Was at a friends house last night and a huge ass tree branch fell on her mom's car :heckno:

punkwax 10-22-2014 08:57 AM

My heavy patio set blew over in the middle of the night. Forgot to close umbrella.

fliptuner 10-22-2014 10:00 AM

Thank god I didn't buy that car shelter on the weekend.

Wind was crazy last night. Lights kept flickering on and off but didn't lose power. My grid used to be real weak like 5 years ago and go out all the time. They improved our grid, it's rock solid now and rarely ever goes out when all the other grids in the area go.
