Doesn't matter if the lines on the road were lit up like a Xmas tree, some drivers are so fucking bad it doesn't matter. Like Costco parking lot. How do people manage to not park between the lines? Those spots are wide as fuck, but people still manage to fuck it up. I take pictures of bad parking. I'm going to publish a book called, WTF People?

Maybe that's the problem. The spots are so wide it doesn't matter. Like employees at Mopac...... special kind of parking, lol.

Offtopic but here's a random story.
I usually try to park with the passenger side as close to the wall as possible to give the car beside me ample space to avoid getting car dings... one time a van parked so close to me I couldn't open my driver side door so I had to climb in through the trunk. I was super annoyed, I'm usually super laid back but this time I wrote a note on a piece of paper and stuck it to his windshield - "Please learn to park properly asshole."

You are a better person than me. Of the 284 different things I would have done, that's not one of them. Then again, you park there daily, so maybe the right thing to do.

If their going to be that obtuse I'd cave their door in with my door.

The wind and rain which blew through the valley late last night, has managed to knock out power to all of Aldergrove. Still no power this morning. I've got a 12v battery charged up, waiting to go back into my Tracker, which I rigged so I could charge my phone overnight.

twitchyzero 01-13-2021 07:55 AM

wow 90+kph at yvr
heard some rustling above the kitchen hood and thought a critter got in somehow

Teriyaki 02-06-2021 11:33 PM

Surprised no one posting here today. Definitely cold and windy today.

Headed out to Garry Point Park, nice brisk walk with the waves and super speed kites in the sky

GIZZ 02-07-2021 07:33 AM

The wind was bad last night. I was hoping mother nature would help me take down this giant willow, no such luck.

fliptuner 02-07-2021 11:00 AM

As long as it's dry out, I'm good.

StylinRed 02-07-2021 07:14 PM

It's gonna get cold this week, if the weather report is accurate :lol

danned 02-07-2021 09:33 PM

BIC_BAWS 02-08-2021 12:00 PM

It's snowing in Richmond right now... LOL

mikemhg 02-08-2021 02:36 PM

Got stuck coming home on the Coquihalla last night. That shit was fucked, semi's slipping everywhere on the hill coming up towards HWY 3/Hope.

We spent 3 hours on that hill last night :lol

AzNightmare 03-28-2021 07:12 PM

Really? no one bumped this thread today?

I opened the door to go out today and the wind nearly shoved the door into my face.

Teriyaki 03-28-2021 07:38 PM

^ Agreed.

Anyone else get blasted by that combo wind and hail? Was a pretty rare event.

pastarocket 03-28-2021 08:11 PM

-hoping that the electricity stays on during the windy weather.

-need my daily fix of RS. :lawl:

Bouncing Bettys 03-28-2021 09:22 PM

Parents' neighbours in Parksville replaced their gate on Friday, after a previous wind storm. The new, expensive, heavy duty gate, was blown over today and will have to be replaced.

320icar 03-28-2021 09:39 PM

Dog walked between storms. The hail was pretty good, caught it on my insta lol. Got the flashlights out for when the power eventually goes. Have a few friends in the dark right now

fliptuner 03-28-2021 10:13 PM

Rain, wind and hail in PoCo today. After things calmed down, around 6pm, the sun came out and we let the kids out to play. Found the neighbor's skylight sitting on the road lol. They bought the place at least 6 months ago but haven't moved in.

RIP to my sons basketball hoop, it's been a good ride.

StylinRed 03-29-2021 07:27 AM

Nice amount of hail but didn't know the wind was bad enough that it took the power out for so many people
