Koodo reception is absolutely garbage, phone said LTE. But still couldn't connect to anything.

Mine went out at 11:45am and didn't come back on till 2am in Langley. I'm on Telus and it wouldn't let me connect either even though I had LTE and bars, pretty fucking annoying lol

Great reason to use Monday (power outage), unable to get "online" for work :troll:

Wtf is up with the thunderstorm in mid-May?!

westopher 05-17-2021 10:50 PM

Nuts here in North van. Tons of hail and wind as well.

MG1 05-17-2021 10:53 PM

My poor irises........... they just bloomed this morning, too. My prized bright red peonies. Fuck you, god of thunder!

Blah_Teggie 05-17-2021 10:53 PM

Thunder and lightning here in Richmond

AzNightmare 05-18-2021 12:02 AM

StylinRed 09-17-2021 09:00 PM

So many places outta power, wanted to order takeout but :(

danned 09-17-2021 09:34 PM

you cook at home and do takeout at home

AzNightmare 09-18-2021 04:09 AM

Power went out at my place for about 1 second.

Just enough to inconveniently shut my PC down without me saving my work...

westopher 09-18-2021 09:12 AM

AzNightmare 09-18-2021 06:18 PM

thundering and lightning now.

320icar 09-18-2021 10:01 PM

There was a lot of thunder in Ladner earlier today. It was just like “movie” thunder

Whoever created, or at least leaked to the media, the terms "weather bomb" and "atmospheric river" needs to be kneecapped.

EmperorIS 10-25-2021 09:01 AM

Whenever the media hypes anything its always a dud. The biggest storm/snow falls are the ones without warning.

Acura604 10-25-2021 04:03 PM

"Weather Bomb" out in White Rock...wish the waves were higher.

Apparently, it hit the lower west coast pretty hard, places like California! And Victoria/Island.

A tornado watch was issued, then lifted by Environment Canada on Saturday

The report advises people to be prepared for severe weather, take cover immediately if a tornado does form

It's best to stay indoors if possible with extreme wind and rain forecast for the remainder of the night

Stop talking about mumbo jumbo. What brand umbrella do you recommend, i've had those cheap $10 night market type ones before and they fail. And they flip with the slightest breeze. I'm looking for a compact one when retracted, large golf sized one, double layered (so wind can blow through it without trying to flip it). queeeeeeeeeeee

Designed by some members of Vancouver hackspace. Can withstand 70 mph winds. Also has a carbon fiber frame.
