is it just me or have i not seen one of these Kids in a supercar kill anyone recently? I mean that's a good thing, but it just goes to show that a lot of these kids aren't interested in cars anymore. Or they too fucking broke and nobody can afford cars so they instead play on their phones and ride e scooters around town.

I had this one kid come up to me asking if my ratrolla was an EV. im like yes, yes it is.

The ones that make the news typically are one in a VERY LARGE cohort of kids with cars way too fast for them. A lot of them either don't like driving to begin with, or know their limits and toodle around town slowly.

As I’m typing that though admittedly I’ve crashed a bunch of dirt bikes and snowmobiles and even recently rolled a friends side by side, but it’s not so much I don’t know how to drive, it’s that I don’t know anything but full-send lol..

I would say that going from F150 to G37 I never once had a speeding ticket in the past 15 years of driving and then I get a 300hp car and I’ve had 4 in 5 years :/ pretty sure if I had an actual fast far my licence would be in jeopardy :whistle:

^TBH You can get an excessive speeding ticket is almost any car made in the last 20 years. Nothing is really that slow anymore except for a Prius C. God those things are fucking slow.

A tree "branch" snapped off and speared itself into the ground. Narrowly missing the power lines and the house. My dumbass thought the bottom of the tree got ripped out somehow so I called an arborist lul.

Bro was like.. bruh this isn't a tree. I'm like wtf??? he's like yeah, look up. The top of the tree snapped.

Guy said that I could leave it like that and it should be ok, they'll come back on Monday and get it down properly and cut it up. He also did a quote around the place, $500 for a tree prune + chip?

We walked back around made plans for Monday and I confirmed with him that it should be ok right? I guess he was like fuck it cause his response was... can I drive on your lawn? Bro backed up his diesel Colorodo ZR1 (or w/e it had bilstein looking shocks and he said lockers), grabbed some rope, tied it around the tree "branch" and pulled it out lol. Gave the guy some cash for the quick job. Pricy, but better than me trying to push it down lol or well... my original plan was to "notch" it then I decided that's a horrible fucking idea and I should call someone to take care of this.

Anyway, home ownership ain't for me. I think this is what people pay strata for.

Yesterday I went out for groceries and drove through this "puddle" a block away from Metrotown (this Grange/MacKay). Judging by the where the leaves got stuck on my grille, the water came up at least 3-4 inches up the front of the car - enough to cover most of my intercooler.

Certainly wasn't my first choice - traffic was backed up and by the time I could see the water it was too late to get out. One of my front parking sensors has been going nuts ever since - I think it got a bit too wet.
