Outages on the Island are unreal. According to the BC Hydro Outage map, it seems like the entire stretch from Parksville all the way down to Victoria is out of power. FailFish

Side note: fuck these websites and their regional blocking. What do they think they're accomplishing by not letting overseas Canadians see their website? All it takes is a VPN.

Power went out around 8:30, so we decided to go out. Power came back around 11:30 while we were at Metrotown.

Maybe it's the wind, maybe it's the GST holiday, but Metrotown and surrounding was a clusterfucking shit show.

Me. Power went out at 0830. Didn't come back on till 1430. LTE doesn't work either. I tried to force WCDMA/GSM to force 4G but it results in no service. I find LTE doesn't work during power outages.

I went to WR to buy some hot pot stuff (dirt cheap there) but as we were lining up to pay the power went out lol
