There was a lightning strike that hit very close to my office. I thought the lightbulbs blew up before I realized it was lightening and then the thunder made me jump. I have never heard thunder that loud not even when I lived in Sask. where lightening and thunder is a regular occurrence.

yea. went to mcdonalds drive thru on victoria and kingsway and as i was ordering, they had a power outage... right when they said " Hi welcome to mcdonalds, how can i help u today?" the electricity shut off. so i spent 3 mins talking to myself......
