Reduced Sleep

For the past 5 days, i felt like my sleeping hours were reduced. On days i don't have to go to school, i sleep around 10 hours. But now, i find myself waking up after 6-7 hours, and not being able to fall asleep again after. This is also accompanied by waking up 2-3 hours after i fall asleep, then having a hard time falling asleep again as well.

On school days, i sleep the same time i sleep on my free days - at around 5 a.m. so i get around 3 hours of sleep on school days. Usually because i have lack of sleep on school days, i sleep a shit load when i dont have school, but it did not deliver lately. I never had this problem before, it just started recently. I don't nap. I don't drink coffee. Only drink / blaze on occasions.

What's taking away my long hours of sleep?

~do u worry about not getting enough sleep?
~usually 8 hours of sleep is enough, when you are sleeping more
it's actually messing up your sleeping cycle.

Stress? Weather may play a big factor too. I find that I sleep less on a Rainy day then compared to say a sunny day

why are you only sleeping 3 hours? that's not necessary unless you work graveyard or trying to cram for exams..

I try my best to sleep 4 hours if I Have an assignment due or a exam to cram...other wise it's usually 6-7 hours...on weekend i sleep 7-9 hours.

last year when my schedule started maxing out 40-50 hours at school I was so stressed it affected my sleep..I'd wake up at 3am and not be able to fall asleep for like 15 min..then waking up the next day feeling like I had no sleep at all just because there ewas that 15 min of awake time.

Now I'm maxed out at 60-70 hours at school and work but I don't feel aso sleep deprived..Im adapted to it..but then again I feel so sleepy during classes after lunch =T

when you work, there is something call coffee

You're always going to get reduced sleep once you start working and try to maintain a social life.

i do about 95-100 hours for school a week.

i still get around 6 hours of sleep time. sleep is essential for me to work properly throughout the day, so i value sleep =)

i can sleep for 24 hours no problem, just that i don't have he luxury to do that anymore like back in the days in highschool.
