holy...how long did the attack last for the chimp to cause that kind of damage???
I mean....wouldn't the owner tries to stop the attack as soon as it happens?
I can't imagine how the chimp can rip her face and hands out and cause that kind of damage if the attack only last 20-30 seconds.
and why is the victim suing the state? isn't the chimp privately owned by her friend?

The owner stabbed the chimp with a butcher knife, and it still went wild before the police put it down.
The owner is being sued for 55mil.

However, the state failed to enforce it's own law because they thought Travis was not a danger to humans, thus the reason for the lawsuit.
