There's almost always a speed trap going towards the US border/Hwy99 at Peace Arch just before the duty free. You can't see them until the very last minute. Every time I drive through there, they've stopped 2-3 cars. I would suggest slowing down as soon as you see the 60km/h sign...

isn't the best for someone to experience being stopped for speeding rather than 'pretending' that they are going under/within the limit?

let's face it, if someone knows where they are they'll slow down but as soon as they've passed it they'll speed up again...

And the first thing they learn is that it's a laser, not radar.

I see it more as, a heads up, where normal people can be extra cautious. I'm sure there are members that got tickets coming down a hill, or simply not realizing the speed limit changes, and getting punished for it.

The chronic speeders will eventually get caught.

what a bunch of dumbasses to pull people over in this weather.... I was going Westbound and it's backed up just as bad.

Nordell Way and 84th red light camera is alive. I got snapped but I'm 105% sure I was rolling thru a green the second flash must show a green light.

Here's a tip for everyone who doesn't own a smartphone with data plan.

I have set up a 'mobile alert filter' on Hotmail on my cellphone to receive email notifications from this thread's suscription to my cellphone.. (set so only webmaster@revscene.net emails are sent)

For those who don't have smartphones, its a way of getting instantly notified via text of a new posting in here! You can set it so that only Revscene emails get instantly forwarded via text message.

A nice heads up for people.

alderbridge way/ HWY 91 westbound into Richmond, right after Shell Rd-railroad tracks.

I was heading east, but I saw a cop hiding on the side of the road with a radar gun.
The cop was well hidden, plus it was at night.

Woot thanks!

Today at the intersection of 72nd and 112th in Delta, police were standing in the middle of the road to catch people talking on their cellphones as soon as they turned onto 112th. Handing out warnings for now.

Excessive speeding? That bridge is 50km/h?

One of the VPD people said in the paper that the VPD only busts you if you go 20 over the speed limit...and they had a picture of them at the viaduct catching people a few days back.
