D-Day: DAVE Wireless Strikes From the Shadows! D:

So WIND Mobile has...blown over, shall we say, although they'll likely be back later.

Don't forget the other new major carrier, DAVE Wireless. Launching in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa, they'll be launching on AWS (1700/2100) as well as some 850/1900 they're borrowing from Rogers. Hmm...I suppose a Nokia N900 won't look so bad if you're looking to jump ship.

My fav bit of the article:
Quote:
Although every time I speak with Dave Dobbin he gets more excited I continue to press him for the new name is… simply because DAVE Wireless name needs to change. I wonder what it will end up being? T-Mobile Canada? Beaver Wireless? Queen Mobile… What are your thoughts? Are you ready to embrace whatever name DAVE Wireless enters the market with… they are coming across Canada.

Whats so good about DAVE wireless? I mean, most people think WIND mobile is good because of the good rates + no saf + bundled features, but someone school me on DAVE Wireless!

^ Eh, still no release date. Might be a year before anything launches for all we know.

As it stands now, the only good thing about DAVE Wireless is more competition and another option for consumers in the marketplace.

Why does a mobile news website not have a mobile-friendly site?
