yup, its not that we are being tight lipped about it. its just that we are all curious too, and no one knows all the details! cant wait though! i just assume that with Brian Jessel BMW growing so big, they need room for expansion.
haha, everyone laughs at me cuz im always in the a cheery mood in the morning, especially in shipping. i treat opening all the shipment boxes like christmas!
OH LOOK! SANTA SENT ME ROTORS AND PADS! YAY!!! hahahaha
im 1/2 expecting them to give me a sleeping bag n a pillow and send me on my way if they move me over to autohaus side =P

SG, keep an eye out for OEM 19" style 230 wheels for the e92's, you might get these rims on a lease return that the dealership might want to unload. A set of these wheels brand new are too expensive and finding a used set is very hard.

ohh, you want a set?
hmm, u got a picture? there are soooooo many styles that i have a hard time keeping track.
we have been moving a lot of sets lately because of the demand for winter tire packages. its actually kinda crazy! That one winter @ advance, we moved sooooo many tires, but this is insane. im talking about parts advisors, and even us in shipping helping move sets upon sets upon sets of tires to help the tech's out. at the same time, im trying to help find room for all of them! the amount of volume being moved is just... wow! on top of stock orders, and stuff.
just the other day, i go put some filters into stock. im like why do we need to stock this many? that was until i got to the location and looked up :O wtf?! where did all the filters go from yesterday?! i swear there was like 20 left! all the parts advisors are running around, its kinda funny because its like a hockey team skating on the floor, the difference is we dont all stand up to sing the national anthem in the morning =P
anyhow, if u show me a picture, ill keep an eye out.

they ARE nice, but having directional spokes + directional tires + difference sized n offset tires and wheels means it truely is a true staggered setup. each wheel and its design is meant for each corner of the car. Quote:

Not sure if it's appropriate, apologize if it's not. I am looking for a specific part for my E30 BMW, if anybody who works at a dealership could help me out to look for it that would be great.
PM me, I want to avoid cluttering up the thread, thanks!

we dont have a mick. but ill tell Cull that.
In parts, we got Cullam (i think thats how u spell his name), Kristen, Rob, Andrew, Colin, Thomas, Todd (assist manager), and Charlie (Parts manager). In shipping we got Teddy, Marlene, Michael (Close, but he's chinese), Alex, and me =)
We work as an awesome team! I was worried i wouldnt fit in, but they adopted me, and really appreciate how everyone works together.
Haha, ok, sounds stupid, but when the chance, i love hanging out in the tech bay (mechanics bay). its so freakin clean, and i just love cars.
Yesterday was a welcomed surprise, had a couple friends swing by to say hi. also ran into an old friend i would see clearing customs at the border when i use to work at advance.

I've changed those rims before, they aren't 4 different wheels, just staggered front and rear
19x8 or 19x9s
oem tires are just inside/outs potenza re050a
if you want to talk about 4 different wheels, the new x6 hybrid has different rims on each corner, due to being more aerodynamic |

how so? then if u dont have a left and right 19x9, the twist in the spoke will be all twisting to one side only. i guess its not a big deal, unless ur super picky.
ohhh you mean the dark gunmetal set? well technically its 4 different wheels as the tires they come are directional. but because the offset for the fronts are different from the rears, that makes the tag for them as being "front left, front right, rear left, rear right"
haha, i would know. i unloaded all of them, and moved almost all the sets upstairs into storage! =P
if u happen to work at brian jessel bmw, the green tape marking off the those sets was done by me =P Quote:

I'm pretty sure they are just different from front to rear by width, and they spin all the same direction.
I've replaced them, go check if u want :P Quote:

if you know what parts you want, u can call around for pricing.
if you do call Brian Jessel BMW, call and ask for andrew or thomas. Car enthusiasts are always better and more entertaining to chat with on the phone.
